Dr. Judy Greenlea Taylor, a native of Atlanta, GA has practiced dentistry in the public and private sectors for 28 years and currently operates a private practice in Union City, southwest of Atlanta. Dr. Greenlea Taylor’s extensive career includes key leadership positions and   as serving as the 92ndPresident of the National Dental Association (NDA), a Consultant to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), a state board official appointed to the Georgia Department of Public Health by Governor Nathan Deal, where she served two terms and served as an Officer - Secretary.


Dr. Greenlea Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Prairie View A&M University (Texas A&M University System) and historically was the first graduate of the Benjamin Banneker Honors College. She earned her D.D.S dental degree from University of Iowa, completed a General Practice/Oral Surgery Fellowship Residency at Emory University and a Master of Public Health Degree (MPH) from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. She received course certification in health disparities research from Columbia University and a certificate in Cultural Competency with HHS, and serves as a facilitator trainer. She is a nationally recognized public health educator, lecturer and consultant who has received numerous honors and awards for both her professional and community service accomplishments.

Dr. Joanne Zhu received her master’s degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Zhu completed her internal medicine residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Zhu is board certified in internal medicine with focused practice in hospital medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Association of Physician Leadership and the Society of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Zhu currently is in practice with Wellstar Hospitalist Group.

Dr. Joseph Parkinson serves as the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at the ECU School of Dental Medicine. He earned a DDS from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry (UMKC) and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program, also at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr. Parkinson also completed a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) through the Academy of General Dentistry. He earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. He was in private practice in Gladstone, Missouri, before joining the faculty full-time at UMKC School of Dentistry. Dr. Parkinson was previously at the University of Kentucky, where he was the Assistant Dean for Pre-doctoral Clinical Operations and assistant professor, overseeing the daily operations of the pre-doctoral clinic.

Sybrina Bernabei has been working with the LGBTQ+ community for over 23 years. She has been a street outreach worker, HIV/ AIDS educator and managed group homes for LGBTQ youth in Los Angeles. Her street outreach work has focused on providing support for marginalized communities and linking them to services including the homeless, sex workers and injection drug users. She now uses her degree in secondary education to train medical providers, law enforcement, social workers and other folks in how to support our sex/ gender diverse (LGBTQ) communities. She has also done policy work and fundraising and collaborated with many community-based organizations in facilitating inclusive workshops to increase intersectionality in Sothern Nevada. Outside of work she enjoys time with her wife and two incredible children, Joseph and Sofia.
